Major
food company seeks degreed logistics professional to develop / manage
processes for network analysis designed to produce evaluations/
recommendations for correct fleet size, routes delivery schedules and
optimum depot locations. Will be responsible for implementing and producing
quarterly fleet age analyses to provide recommendations on methods,
resources, and actions required to improved functional efficiencies.
Develop, implement and conduct monthly fleet maintenance expense review
programs for the fleet; will produce recommendations related to controlling
and/or reducing fleet maintenance costs. Review entire fleet routing and
offer recommendations to improve efficiencies and to reduce costs. 8-10
years progressive responsibility with appropriate logistics/fleet
background. Position reports directly to VP of Operations. Salary $95K to
$110K.

MANAGER OF TECHNICAL SERVICES |

Position reports to on site plant manager w/dotted line to corporate R&D
Group. This plant produces a variety of baked products. One of the primary
responsibilities will be to create an appropriate working budget, upgrade
and further develop an appropriate lab on site to better provide tech
support for the corporate manufacturing group. There will be periodic
interface w/corporate R&D Group throughout the commercialization process.
The Plant Technical
Services Manager will not (normally) be involved in conceptualization; but
will work with and support manufacturing to assess new product concepts from
the standpoint of viability for the marketplace (addressing production,
quality and cost issues throughout the trial period of the manufacturing
process on new or (modifications of existing products) A B.S. Degree in
Baking Technology, Food Science, Chemistry necessary, Masters Degree is
preferred. Knowledge of sweet goods very helpful. Located in the
Southeastern region. Salary $65k to $95k D.O.E

Experienced sanitation
professional is needed by this large sweet goods bakery to head up the
sanitation department. Will have a total of 28 people reporting to this
person, two are supervisors. Degreed
candidate's will be given first consideration but experience is the first
requirement. Minimum 5 years experience in sanitation required. Highly automated plant
but most of the sanitation occurs on the third shift. Located in
Pennsylvania so must be willing to relocate. Relocation package provided,
salary will be in the low to mid $60's plus bonus.

Any
shift, large highly automated bakery operation has need of multiple
maintenance supervisors on multiple shifts. Reports to plant maintenance
manager. Must know ammonia refrigeration. Degree preferred but not required.
Located in the sunbelt region. Salary caps at $60k to start.

SUPERVISORS |
Large
bakery operation that is highly automated is in need of 2 Supervisors now
and as many as 5 Supervisors before summers end. Candidate’s MUST have a
4-year degree minimum and have prior supervisory experience. Those with
bakery experience will be given first consideration, any other food
production will also be considered. Must be willing to start on an off shift
but advancement to first shift can happen quickly. Positions are located in
the mid Atlantic region. Salary depends on qualifications, range is $50K to
$70K plus bonus.
